Ordered mine from Woolworths and it only cost me £9.99. Admittly I do have to collect it, which I don't mind has ihave to work in the morning anyway. So won't start reading until the afternoon.

LilyLoo · 27/06/2007 14:10

I think some of the supermarkets are selling it for £8.99 which will hit small shops badley as it's even less than they pay for it.

MrsWeasley · 27/06/2007 14:12

I am picking mine up at a launch party as close to midnight as the queues allow

LilyLoo · 27/06/2007 14:19

are you planning on an all night readathon then Mrsweasley ?

It's £8.99 with Amazon - if you need another book as well or you have a friend who also wants to buy it you get free delivery over £15 (or £16 - something like that) I don't know if they guarantee the date, but the delivery date showing in my orders is the 21st.

Playmobil · 27/06/2007 14:30

tesco have it today only for £8.87 including delivery here www.tesco.com/dealoftheday/

IdrisTheDragon · 27/06/2007 14:31

I am thinking about getting it from Tesco.....when I'll find the time to read it is another matter of course .

funkimummy · 27/06/2007 14:40

I was saving my Waterstones gift voucher for that one....but seeing as they're usually pricey.....I'm just off to cyber Tesco!

LilyLoo · 27/06/2007 14:41

goingfor3 i agree supermarkets selling it for that make it impossible for bookshops to compete. However looks like Tesco the place to go.

LilyLoo - just got my hardback. Got it at Tesco though.... Sorry smaller book stores.

What a bargain though - free delivery and used a clubcard voucher too so paid £2.37 in total!

I'm such a big kid. I'm just off to hyperventilate and get really excited about reading Harry Potter. I know, I know. Sad but true!

LilyLoo · 27/06/2007 14:55

Bargain funkimummy hours of enjoyment for a couple of quid , doesn't happen often

No...like never? I think I might have forgotten what fun is. I'll get the dictionary out to remind me

maryhad · 27/06/2007 15:38

when's publication day again?

funkimummy · 27/06/2007 15:39

21st July I think

maryhad · 27/06/2007 15:45

thanks. I need to skim over the last one again before then - get into the mood!

funkimummy · 27/06/2007 15:47

I know. I need to have a quick re-skim too. Trouble is with all my 'work' books on the go....I don't know if I'll be ready in time!

I might go and camp in the back garden for the weekend.....FunkiDaddy can do his bit!

MrsWeasley · 28/06/2007 20:28

LilyLoo: I'm worn between wanting to read it quickly before someone tells me what has happened and wanting to read it slowly to make it last, as its the last one.

LilyLoo · 28/06/2007 20:31

Is it the last one ?

OP posts:
MrsWeasley · 28/06/2007 21:49

yes please tell me you were joking and that you knew this all along LOL

LilyLoo · 28/06/2007 21:55

i've only been upset about it for an age
Seriously i'm going to lock myself away fro a week maybe and savour it. Sod the dc's and dp

I looked on the Tesco website but it said there's a delivery charge for it .

I don't want to pay that so I think I'll stick with Amazon .

funkimummy · 29/06/2007 13:23

There is a charge - but if you check out tesco's website they give you a code to type in to get free delivery!!
