It just depends who else he takes with him, I am sure there will be a few. Like the idea of setting up a thread before book release - definitely put spoilers in the title though! I am going away the day after the book comes out so although I will probably finish it within a day or 2 I won't be able to post on here for over a week! Waaaaaaiiiiiiiiil!!!!!!!!

It may take me a few days to finish it, as I have decided to read it nice and slowly and take it all in. Mind you if left in peace that still wont take too long. She is so easy to read you hit page 100 before you know it

Neville will definitely kill Bellatrix.
Dobby will definitely be involved, but I think Kreacher will be as well.
Hope none of the Weasley's die, espcially the twins or Bill.
I think Hagrid might die and Grawp will go mad and kills loads of Deatheaters (Malfoys hopefully) in his grief.
Snape must redeem himself so I reckon he must save Harry and possibly/probably get himself killed at the same time.

Has JKR definitley said that it's two main characters who die?

My money is on Voldy and Snape who will give his life to save Harry, [sob]but if it's just main charcters, there could be others who aren't 'main'

How do we differentiate between main and non main?

hmm that got me thinking SSM, snape will die (good) but his final words may hold some vital clues! about his life , loves and Harry!!

Love Neville killing Bellatrix idea. Revenge will be sweet for him. Hope his parents recover, but it seems unlikely. I really want a happy ending for Neville. Herbology teacher maybe.
I think Harry could teach DADA, Hermione Transfiguration, and Ron can be Groundkeeper, only joking, don't know about Ron. Hope that doesn't mean he'll die. I would've thought McGonagall would be HeadMistress.

Mr Weasley will get a great job in the Ministry and they will have money at last. Percy will not go bad, but will get his comuppance when everyone finds out Voldie really is back. He will lose his faith in the Ministry which will devastate him.

Bill and Fleur will be happy, and have wolfie babies.

I posted a thread and it disappeared. So here goes again! My theories are

Percy is "spying" on the ministry on behalf of the Order, Dumbeldore wasn't happy with the way things were being run remember, they sacked him a headmaster of Hogwarts didn't they. Percy will report all back to the Order, which will help in the battle against the death eaters.

Draco will need help from harry. Voldemort will threaten Draco's mother in some way (remember in Half Blood Prince how owrried she was about him). I think his mother is the only person, other than himself, who he loves. Harry will help him and then Draco will be indebted to harry!

Hopefully Luscious won't get killed I like him(think it's the Barbie wig that does it)

Neville will turn out to be a star, and will kill Bellatrix - in fact it hink he may use the cruciatos curse on her a few times first.

I can't make up my mind who dies - I have a feeling it may be Lupin, leaving Harry virtually on his own without much adult support. Or it could be Snape as he redeems himself, can't get my head round him being good though!

The revelation of Snape will shock everyone, esp if he dies. Then they'll feel bad, maybe there will be a "moment" between him and Harry before he dies. That would be quite good actually.

Harry will have the Weasley's.

snape cannot die, because he will then be a truly tragic character, i do think he had a very sad childhood, was bullied at school, didn't realy have any friends (except lily! snogging!) who married someone else. he's had to be a double agent his entire adult life ( how terribly draining!) had nasty little school children teasing him about his greasy hair and then, to die?!

i reckon Severus had an unbreakable with lily, or loved her son ( but hated james'!) so much that he has vowed to protect him long before he even got around to draco.

draco doesn't give a shit about cissy! i always think lucius regards her as a pure blood brood mare and draco may not have had a terribly warm relationship with her. (these pure blood families! so undemonstrative & anal!)

Well Lupin can't die either as he and Tonks need to get married and have babies. I think it's Hagrid .
