i belive that snape is also in the bigger plans here, and if dracos mother went and told voldermort that he wouldnt agree to the unbreakable vow, voldermort would definately know that he was still dumbledores man, therefore he would have been killed.

funny looking at the actress playing aunt petunia in philosphers stone last night, she just looked so embarrassed by Hagrid. Aunt Petunia knows a LOT more than she is letting on i think.

Petunia deinitely knows a lot. It's clear from (I think) the first book that she was jealous of Lily, but I wondered if that jealousy had something to do with one of the men in Lily's life - whether Petunia loved James perhaps. She seems so shrivelled,even about Dudley, and with love being such a theme I think she must have had some passion somewhere and at some time.

VERY little has happened in the HP universe that DD didn't anticpate or plot

lol fillyjonk.lucius is a great character but he has caused much destruction to peoples lives including his own son, i think it could happen

snape could have an unbreakable vow to protect harry as well though...what happens if you have two - would the earlier one cancel out the latter one?

thats a really good question because it doesnt say that you can only have one unbreakable vow, maybe dumbledore made snape promise to protect harry due to the part he played in harrys mum and dads death

yes filly because he has always had a soft spot for malfoy.it is almost like the relationship dumbledore and harry had

malfoy tried to befriend Harry in the first book. Maybe he wanted to be good! It is possible to be good in a family of bad (the blacks).

V wouldnt care if Draco had died he gave him the mission to punish the Malfoy family for Lucius's mistakes.

I thought that Jonathon Ross played down Dumbledore's death as he was a bit surprised at JKR mentioning it.

Remember that some people have only seen the films, so he was playing up Cedric's death which could be the last death that some know about.
