Please help me identify this book. It's a real, real long shot!!!!
It's a university level academic book. Edited with chapters by different authors. I catalogued copies 20 years ago for a university course on interculturalism.... but that might be a red herring.
The bit I want to re-read was a fabulous chapter by people who were going fell walking in Cumbria/ Lake District - possibly doing the Coast to Coast- but they couldn't believe how different the coastal part of Cumbria was from the touristy Lakes. I think they might have felt some hostility from the West Cumbrian locals...
