What else would I like? I loved EO and was so upset to finish it. I haven't felt like that about a book in a long while. What could you reccomend me next?

I enjoyed it and also enjoyed The Rosie Project

Taytotots · 02/11/2018 21:27

Have you read 'The Rosie Project' by Graeme Simsion?

claracluck78 · 02/11/2018 21:27

The Rosie Project

Missikat · 02/11/2018 21:28

I read it recently and loved it too! others I've similarly loved are Memoirs of a Geisha and A Thousand Splendid Suns. There's been a thread recently asking about books that people have never forgotten which has loads of great suggestions. I'll try and find the link.

"The uncommon life of Alfred Warner" by Juliet Conlin
"The Wonder" by Emma Donoghue
And my all time favourite recommended to be on MN after I asked this exact question: "the heart's invisible furies" by John Boyne

Lost for words by Stephanie Butland. I loved this book and found it very similar in feel to Eleanor Oliphant. Smile

Oh, you must look out for The Truths and Triumphs of Grace Atherton coming out 10 January, cannot recommend highly enough - relationships and music (probs in my top 20 ever)

Three Things about Elsie and also The Love Song Of Queenie Hennessy.

Queenie Hennessy hadme bawling at the end of it, such a good book. It is not a follow on but a side long book to the Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry.

If anyone wants a lovely book to get tucked up with please read it!
