The Seven Death of Evelyn Hardcastle - spoilers

Thought I’d pick something light and murder mystery to read - halfway through it and cannot actually understand what is going on. Can someone who has read it explain to me what the hell is going on? Anna says her mind gets wiped every morning so how has she been keeping a book on all information gathered? Shouldn’t all 8 players be body swapping at around the same time though at different time lines of theirs?

I've just finished this and absolutely loved it! When I was halfway through I had the same questions as you - if you persevere all will become clear! It is one of those books that you only really understand when you get to the end. The book thing will make sense eventually, I promise!

I wouldn't worry too much. Just treat it as a country house murder mystery.

I sympathise OP, am about 100 pages in and really not enjoying it. DH has just finished Lethal White which he says is fantastic, so I've nabbed that, so dear old Evelyn's been stuck on the shelf, where she might well stay, although apropos of some of the other comments here I feel I should maybe persevere, albeit after a break.
