Has anyone else finished Kingdom of Ash yet? I need to talk about it!

I haven't finished this, and will probably be about a week before I manage to but will keep an eye on the thread for when I do.

I'm over half way through. I've just got the part where Dorian gets to Morath. I'm nervous to keep on reading

Finally finished it. I really enjoyed it, several times I was quite emotional!

Was really good wasn't it.
The Morath bits were my favourite I think.
One thing that jarred for me though was the deal Aelin tried to make when forging the key. It didn't make sense for me that she was willing to sacrifice everything and not banish Erawan. That was the whole point! I get it was so the healer could destroy him but it just didn't seem a realistic move to make.
Manon and Dorian are my favourites so I'm very glad they survived.

Is this the last book of the series?

Yes it is the last book in the series.

I hope they ended up together in some fashion but I can't see Manon marrying Dorian. She would feel shackled.

Yeah I agree, and I don't think Yerene for the credit she deserved for what she did!

I haven't read the last book yet but can anyone recommend similar series

I’m finished too. Was torn between trying to take my time and savour it and desperately needing to know what happened!

Loved it. Got very emotional at the end at the sacrifices that were made, especially for Manon. In fact I could hardly see the pace at that point. And when Elide was looking for Lochan/they were trying to get back to safety.

So sad it’s all over though.

Jammy Sarah J Maas has another series too callled A Court of Thorns and Roses that is also very good. Similar themes in it too. Maybe Cassandra Clare too, she’s got a couple of series as well.

Trudi Canavans Magicians Guild series is good and has a similar feel. She has a few serieses but that's the only one I've read.

I tried Sarah J Maas's other series but wasnt keen and only read the first book.
