No Mumsnetter read it ?
Reese Witherspoon has an option on it for a film.
The author was an actress in Downton Abbey.

I thought it was terrible! The female character was one of the stupidest people I’ve ever read about and some of the things that happened were unrealistic. I was very surprised it had such good reviews.

I really enjoyed it!

I thinking was in the same league as Girl on a Train.

Untaxing thriller with some twists and turns.

I’ve recently read this, and whilst I found it entertaining and quite a page turner, it seemed to me that Erin was wasted as a documentary maker - she should be a detective or work for MI5 or something, such were her skills and expertise as a sleuth! That aspect was a little far fetched for me, but on the whole I enjoyed the book.

For a debut novel I am impressed, and will look out for the author’s next work.
