I love her books! Can you recommend another author in the same vein?

Kelly Rimner is supposed to be similar, but I haven’t read any of hers.
Have you tried Jodi Picoult, Diane chamberlain, Lisa Jewell (her more recent ones) and Dorothy Koomson?
And I recently read The Good Mother by Sinead Moriaty (no relation) which was very good.

I love Liane Moriarty!
Dorothy Koomson, Jane Fallon, Jane Corry (Blood Sisters) and Paige Toon. I will search my bookcase for others!

Kelly Rimmer sorry, not Rimner.

Thanks very much for the suggestions.

'All that was lost' by Alison May (her earlier ones are more chick-litty but this one is about a medium and is a bit deeper) is a great read along similar lines to Liane Moriarty. Otherwise yes, I'd agree with later Lisa Jewells or Dorothy Koomson.

Her new book was really horrible ....

Papergirl1968 · 02/11/2018 18:12

Whose new book, theknacktoflying?
Liane Moriaty’s?

Theknacktoflying · 02/11/2018 19:49

Yip - Nine Perfect Strangers ...

Papergirl1968 · 02/11/2018 20:09

Badly written or just a poor plot?
I’ve just read a cracker, The Forgetting Time, by Sharon Guskin, about reincarnation. Very thought provoking.

Theknacktoflying · 02/11/2018 22:03

I just thought it was a really stupid plot and long to boot. I just unfortunately think that the author’s work starts being taken up by television and all gets lost. Just my opinion ....

Papergirl1968 · 02/11/2018 23:15

I think as authors get very successful as well, they churn them out quicker but the quality suffers.
I very rarely buy books these days but I have got an Amazon gift card. Think I’ll get it out of the library though...
