Am on hols at the mo and have 3 days left. Am just about to finish The Children Act by Ian McEwan.
My options are:
Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
Mutiny on the Bounty by John Boyne
Shaun Ryder's autobiography (dh has read and reckons it was written by a ghost writerWink)
Can any of you well-read ladies advise?
TIA

Pachinko has had some good reviews and didn't Ian McEwan rate it highly? So seems a good choice. As for Shaun Ryder amazed he can remember enough from his tripped-out past to write about it, certain to have a ghostwriter pretty standard for this kind of thing but might still be entertaining.

Have decided on Pachinko and after about 30 pages am happy with my choice.

Re. Shaun Ryder, on the cover it says "in his own words" so reckon it was notated 🤣. DH enjoyed it, so I'll prob read at a later date.
Though once I get back from hols, who knows how long it will take me to read anything 😏
