I was in waterstones earlier and don't get to go in very often. Saw a book and like an idiot I didn't make a note of the title. I can't find it on the website.
What I remember:
A fisherman is found dead in his nets. The area they live is thick with memories and something about a man and a woman in America being in love during WW1 or WW2. One is Japanese, one is American. Has the word "Tree/Trees" in it
The cover was really pretty. Not my usual sort of book that I'd be interested in but picked it up based on the cover and was pleasantly surprised.
