I have a kindle but what I really want is to be able to borrow e-books from the library. Can anyone recommend a good one or is kindle the best out there? Thanks!

I love my KOBO Aura H2O. I didn't want a kindle as I get most of my electronic books from the library and save myself a fortune. Best thing about the KOBO is that it's waterproof and I like to read in the bath. Had a few dodgy moments with my previous e-reader. Now I don't need to worry about any liquid getting near it. I've had mine over 2 years and it looks new. Also really easy to work with the library software

You could try converting the library e-books. Google 'apprentice alf'.

Any type of kobo would do the job. I have a kobo mini (?? can't remember what it's proper name is). It's small and eaay to use, and you can transfer library books onto it. Although nowadays I tend to use the Overdrive/RB Digital apps on my phone.
