Loo-reading

I'd like some top recommendations for your great loo-reading books

Clearly a loo-reading book has to have some instant appeal. Has to be able to be read in a short time frame.

Currently my loo reading books are Alan Bennett's Keeping On Keeping On and a History of Western Philosophy.

My loo reading books currently lack pizazz. I'd like some of yours please.

Calvin and Hobbes? Edward Gorey?

I wonder whether your "loo-reading" Grin is similar to DH's car reading? He keeps a book in the glove compartment for times when he's in between jobs, eating lunch or waiting for the DC to come out of a club. He has Sapiens on the go at the moment, which he says is fascinating.

I think loo-reading should be ideally short and funny but I've not got anything short and funny :)

Calvin and Hobbes sound like heavy going. I mean you have to concentrate for that.

Maybe a few back issues of Private Eye - surely that's ideal loo-reading material?
