I’ve been stalking kindle deals for years, it pays to wait, or order the book from your local library if possible.

You did unfortunately.The offer was yesterday. The 12 days of Kindle sale has a small selection of books on sale they offer for just that day, in addition to the main sale and Circe was one of those.
