I have just signed up for 3 months free Kindle Unlimited to take me through the summer holiday. Except that scrolling through, there is next to nothing that appeals to me. It all looks like endless chick lit vampire detective rubbish erotica type shit. Not necessarily in the same book, but possibly so!

Is there anything anyone can recommend that is available via Kindle Unlimited?

Thanks

Depends what you like. I like crime and when I first got my subscription I worked through the series of books by LJ Ross and Joy Ellis. Kind of easy crime reading

It would help to know what kind of books you tend to enjoy?

On the fiction side, I loved Pachinko (by Min Jin Lee). I'm about to start A River in Darkness: One Man's Escape from North Korea. I have also had - The Secret River (Kate Grenville), The Light of the Fireflies (Paul Pen), Do Not Say We Have Nothing (Madeleine Thien), Yellow Crocus (Laila Ibrahim), The Vegetarian (Han Kang) and Wuthering Heights all via unlimited. I can see Life of Pi on there, I'm going to get that next I think.

The Templars by Dan Jones if you like medieval history? I thought it was good.

I've also re-read The Hunger Games and Harry Potter via unlimited, and I'm (slowly!) getting through Harry in French so I can keep my French reading skills up! I have also found several good Lonely Planet guides on there which helped me with holiday planning Grin

On the initial kindle unlimited page, if you scroll down there is a collection of recommended books called "Based on your shopping history", which is where I found several good books. If you've never bought vampire detective erotica before, it shouldn't recommend m/any to you Grin

I read My Sister’s Grace by Robert Dugoni when I had my free trial. Think that was the best of the lot I read
