Fiction book. Females are the more powerful sex (or dominant more than powerful).

Possibly there's a progressive couple in the trying for equality.

That's it.

I've not read it, but was told about it, and now I've forgotten what it was called.

Herland? By Charlotte Perkins Gilman.
It’s a trilogy which might explain the ‘couple’ bit.

LapsedHumanist · 07/06/2018 16:06

Is it that Ursul Le Guin one perhaps?

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 07/06/2018 16:07

The Power-Naomi Alderman>?

Dottierichardson · 07/06/2018 16:08

OP there's a list here of books with the scenario you describe, may be one of these? Or you could google feminist science fiction.

Five to twelve by Edmund cooper?

Hygge · 09/06/2018 17:49

Can you remember who told you about it?

There's a link [https://www.barnesandnoble.com/blog/sci-fi-fantasy/9-sci-fi-books-women-run-show/ here] of ten books where women rule over men so perhaps it's one of these.

Hygge · 09/06/2018 17:50

Sorry, just seen the list has already been linked by Dottie. I had it on my Pinterest as books to have a look at. I'll see if I have any others.

I do have another list Pinned.

It's [https://bookriot.com/2017/11/21/show-me-the-matriarchy/ here] if you want to look at it.

That didn't make a clickly link, I'll try again.

The Five to Twelve seems a possibility. but I'm not convinced it's the one. Still might give some of these a try anyway!!

I'm very irritate with myself as I thought I'd saved it as a too read in my Goodreads.
