We have a couple of long car trips over half term. We’ve finished all the Terry Pratchett Books and they enjoyed a Tom Holt we listened to a while ago. Any other suggestions?

How old are the teens? We often listen to crime fiction, Vera novels have gone down well, or for a gentler listen Agatha Christie?

13 and 15yrs so not the oldest teens. Crime is fine but maybe not descriptions of gore!

Not a book, but have you listened to Cabin Pressure?

CremeBrulee · 25/05/2018 20:14

Cabin Pressure is brilliant (as Arthur would say. Another good one is Elvenquest especially if the teens like Tolkien.

All the Terry Pratchett audio books I've listened to have been very good

Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe

I know it sounds too young for them, but David Tennant reading How to Train Your Dragon always has all of us in hoots of laughter and my youngest DC is 16!
It's a cleverly written book, the humour is great, but there's something about his delivery that makes us giggle all the way through.

You are all on the right lines! We liked cabin pressure and hitchhikers Smile
