She has new book out called ‘Snap’. Loving it as per usual. Been my favourite author for a few years now. Any other fans out there?

What is your favourite?

There's a couple of hers I still haven't read, but I think Blacklands is my favourite. The Exmoor trilogy are very atmospheric, and Blacklands gave me goosebumps it was so chilling.

I really enjoy her books, not got the latest one yet.

JUst finished 'Snap' and it was excellent. At the end it is revealed she has a pseudonym! I did not know this! So downloaded High Rollers and reading that now.

I like all I've read so far except her first, which I'm glad I didn't read first as it would have put me off the rest. The ones that stand out are the boy digging the moors for his dead brother, the girl in the house that floods, and the young man working in a dissection lab in a medical school. She reminds me of Kate Atkinson a bit.

I love the Exmoor trilogy, unnerving read. Thank you for the heads up Katinkka for her new book.

A few months back borrowed The Facts Of Life And Death from my library.

I had never heard of Belinda Bauer and thought the synopsis sounded intriguing, and I have to say I did really enjoy the book. It had me gripped and interested all the way through.

Thanks to this topic, I have now decided to look up some more of her books as they are easy to read but also really well written and pacy, just my sort of go-to book.

I loved Snap too! So atmospheric and full of characters you care about. Just love her dry humour and clever compassion. I don’t forget her books after I’ve read then the way I do so many.
I think Snap is my favourite so far with Blacklands second and Rubbernecker third. But it’s quite hard to choose really... and have left out some very good ones!!

I hope Snap does brilliantly. She deserves a wider readership in my opinion.

During my shift helping out at my local library yesterday, I was browsing through the books left over from a book sale they had there on Saturday,

Imagine my delight when I came across Blacklands.

I snapped it up - 50pence for the paperback. Bargain!

Another great thriller writer is Alex Marwood. Just finished her latest book The Darkest Secret, about the disappearance of a child while on holiday, obsessive love and the fallout for all involved. Her other books are The Wicked Girls about two children who murder another child, and The Killer Next Door about a woman trying to disappear in London and toxic love. All gripping reads
