Can anyone remember the name of a book I read a couple of years ago? It was set in Dartmouth, and a family had recently moved there. The wife’s elderly mother or mother in law was in the early stages of dementia, and it’s about how she copes with that, and is forced to realise how serious it is when the old lady one day meets their child out of school and they get lost on the cliffs.
It was what I think of as chick lit with bite, as in written for women but not too light and fluffy. I’ve searched Milly Johnson, Lucy Diamond, Harriet Evans etc on amazon but don’t think it was any of them.
It really made me want to visit Dartmouth.
