No but it was a daily deal on audible in the last few months & was liked

I've just finished it and it was a book club one for me too. The first chapter or two are harder going than the rest of it. You'll need to keep a bookmark in the family tree as I kept having to work out who was who. I had a few weeks between the first half and the second half of the book but am really pleased I stuck with it.

I really enjoyed it. I was lucky enough to listen to the author talk at our local Waterstones so that made it even more interesting.

Not sure why but novels with slavery as a theme really interest me and I've read quite a few of them.
