Daniel isn't Talking....this book is great ,anyone else read it?

I haven't finished it,but am really enjoying it.Author seems so like a m'netter somehow.

I read it and loved it

I did enjoy it and could relate to a lot of it (especially as my name is Melanie ) but by the end I was feeling a bit . Sort of 'ho hum, yet another book that tells me that the fact that my son is still autistic is entirely down to me not being dedicated/loving enough to 'cure' him'. Anyway, that aside, I thought it was very well written, with some great insights into what autism is really like to live with everyday as opposed to the 'Rainman' stereotype that you tend to get elsewhere.
