Podcasts that actually have an ending?!

I am INFURIATED that I have just listened to yet another true crime podcast that has absolutely no resolution. Serial and missing and murdered were interesting but such an anti climax!!

Can anyone suggest something similar, either crime or a well told story that has an actual ending?!!

I quite liked The Butterfly Effect by Jon Ronson

Can't recommend Real Crime Profile enough. They cover a range of crimes, and more recently have analysed various TV shows. It's presented by Jim Clemente and Laura Richards alongside Lisa Zambetti. Plus you'll fall in love with Jim's voice. They're all so passionate and represent the victim.
Also, Best Case Worse Case is good - (Jim C again!) guess from law enforcement are invited in to discuss their best/worst cases of their careers.

The butterfly effect is brilliant! Jon Ronson's voice is incredibly soothing I find!

I can third the Butterfly Effect - excellent.
Court Junkie is good
Casefile (Start with 50: Jennifer Pan)
Black Hands
Wrongful conviction
A Very Fatal Murder - true crime spoof

Casefile is brilliant.
They Walk Among Us is also great.
In The Dark is really interesting - kind of starts with the ending and works its way back because of a recent revelation about a cold case. Highly recommended!

Is series 2 of missing and murdered any good? I listened to episode 1 today but cant be arsed with a million episodes if it doesn't get anywhere...

Theres a new podcast section on mn.

Glad im not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the lack of resolution in serial.

tobee · 15/04/2018 01:47

@redexpat I can't find where the podcast section is here?

octoberfarm · 15/04/2018 02:04

@IStillMissBlockbuster, assuming you're talking about the Canadian podcast, series 2 (Finding Cleo)I found to be much better and to have a real (if sad) conclusion. It was a fascinating listen, especially with the historical information, and gave me a huge amount of food for thought. I'd recommend it!

IStillMissBlockbuster · 15/04/2018 06:28

Thanks october, I have listened to a few more episodes and am already finding it to be more conclusive.

tobee · 15/04/2018 14:56

Thanks @redexpat ! However, I can click the clicky here but can't find it in the topics section Blush

redexpat · 15/04/2018 19:13
