Ds avid cricket fan, looking for recommendations for books he might like

I haven’t ready this myself but am looking to get Penguins Stopped Play by Harry Thompson for my dh so might be worth a look!

Basil d'Oliveira: cricket and controversy by Peter Oborne
Fire in Babylon by Simon lister

They're old-fashioned but my cricket-loving 12 year old has just hoovered up the Mike and Psmith books by PG Wodehouse

PS They're free through Project Gutenberg and other sites

I came on the thread to say PG Wodehouse but Keith beat me to it.

Another suggestion is Murder Must Advertise by Dorothy L Sayers. It isn't just about cricket but there is quite a lot of cricket in it as I recall and it's a cracking read.
