Light hearted read before bed

Can anyone recommend a light hearted read before bed?

I've just discovered the Dales Detective series This is the first of the 3 in the series.

The same author also wrote a great series set in the French Pyrenees

Gentle, but well written and great characters.

I liked a Man Called Ove.

The Club is a very gentle read and I used to read the Corduroy Mansions books.

I’ve read a man called ove really enjoyed it! I’ll check out the other two you’ve mentioned.. thanks for responding : )

If you liked a Man Called Ove, have you read the 100 year old man who climbed out of a window and disappeared?

I've just enjoyed reading Victoria Twead's spanish series. they are biographical, gentle and quite funny.
