I have downloaded a sample of You Don't Know Me by Inran Mahmood.
Saw it on monthly kindle deals. Anyone read it? I’m running out of ideas and would really appreciate some recommendations please. I enjoyed Apple Tree Yard but unfortunately the other books from the same author don’t appeal. Also like Erin Kelly and psychological thrillers.

Thank you :-)

I really enjoyed The woman in cabin 10 by Ruth Ware, also any of the three books by B A Paris are good if you like a quick and easy read

Try Close to Home by Cara Hunter. B A Paris has a new one out...

Look at C L Taylor's books, the missing was very good.

Also behind closed doors by B A Paris

Not new by any stretch of the imagination but Reginald Hill's books are very clever and I always feel as though I have learned something I didn't know with every book.

Not sure if they are really psychological thrillers but I am a huge fan of the Rachel Abbott books - I think 'Only the Innocent' is the first in the Tom Douglas series. All very good reads.

I also second the C L Taylor books. Have read Ruth Ware's books and enjoyed them.

I've read You Don't Know Me by Imran Mahmood. I did enjoy it at the time, but it hasn't really stayed with me.

One I did particularly enjoy was Into The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes. That really creeped me out. Very good.

You might also like Orangeboy by Patrice Lawrence. It's older YA but very good.

Human Remains by Elizabeth Haines is good

I’m quite into audio books at the mo (forgotten audible subscription credits!)

Have recently listened to Sabine durrant - ‘lie with me’ which I liked. And currently listening to ‘under your skin’ which I’m also enjoying.

‘The breakdown’ by ba Paris was predictable but enjoyable.

I couldn’t stand ‘behind closed doors’ by a j finn, the main character and her family annoyed me throughout.

I've just finished The Girl Before by JP Delaney which was quite good, and I See You by Clare MacKintosh which were both quite entertaining.

Ruth Ware, Cara Hunter, C L Taylor, Reginald Hill, Tom Douglas and Clare MacKintosh are all authors I don’t know. Thanks all. Planning an early night this evening to explore and stock up the kindle.

I read In to the darkest corner a few years ago and loved it. Went on to reading human remains but didn’t enjoy it all all so not read anything else E Haynes.

One of the last ones i enjoyed so much I didn’t want it to end was The kind worth killing by P Swanson but didn’t think to girl with a clock for a heart was that good so on the fence as to wether to read Her every fear.

Thanks again for the suggestions. Very much appreciated. Looking forward to stocking up Mr Kindle :-)

One more writer you might want to look at is Belinda Bauer. She writes really good psychological thrillers. Blacklands is brilliant.
