Had this since Christmas but didn’t get to it until last night. I couldn’t put it down.Has anyone else enjoyed this as I am hoping it will continue to grip me. I am up to Chapter 10.(Auspicious Star). Would have read more but it was 3am as I had spent time finishing my previous book.

Ooh I got it for Christmas too but haven’t read it yet! Glad to hear it’s good.

I read a few months ago, and really enjoyed it too.

Yes, I've read it. It's excellent. But I love Margaret Atwood so I'm very biased. Glad you are enjoying it OP Smile

I've read it twice in 6 months. Loved it even more second time around. She is just brilliant.

I bought Hag-Seed off the back of this thread and finished it in a day. Brilliant book.

Yes, I chose it for my reading group. We all loved it.

I thought it was the best of the Hogarth Shakespeare series that I have read, though there are several I still have to read. Has anyone else read others in the series.

codswallopandbalderdash · 18/03/2018 16:10

I thought it was excellent and the best Atwood I've read for some time.

ChipsForSupper · 18/03/2018 21:00

Same here! Around Chapter 10 and unputdownable!

Love Margaret Atwood but I'm not familiar with the Tempest at all. Do you think the book would still be enjoyable?

HappydaysArehere · 27/03/2018 09:44

Wellhellothere, if you look at the end of the book there is a synopsis of The Tempest. I felt it should have been at the beginning as I only had a vague idea of the plot.
