There are six John Steinbeck books available today for 99p each.

Of Mice and Men, East of Eden, Tortilla Flat, Cannery Row, The Grapes of Wrath, and The Pearl, all part of the Penguin Modern Classics series.

I've only ever read Of Mice and Men and East of Eden so I've bought The Grapes of Wrath and The Pearl.

I’ve had Cannery Row on my wish list for some time and it suddenly dropped. I’ve got GOW and EOE in paperback, and read OMAM Andrea the Pearl years ago.

Not sure about Tortilla Flat.

I read Cannery Row fifty years ago and remember laughing my head off as I travelled to and from work.
