Could anyone please help me track down a book that could be read in a Primary school as a class book (around Year 6 age group) called Alma, about a doll in a toy shop window? A child I work with has been told about it from her penpal and I would like to order it for us to read but don't know the author and can't seem to find the book when I google it.

Google The Literacy Shed Alma and this might be what you're after?

Are you sure it's a book? I can only find an animation.

That's it! Thank you so much x

That film is horrific. Shock

MaryPlain59 · 11/02/2018 11:03

Yes Hygge I thought the same having just watched it, I think I am going to give it a miss as can't see anything positive to be gained. From the brief description I saw in the penpal's letter it sounded quite interesting but I think the film is a bit sinister so will forget about the whole thing.

That might be a good idea.

I've read every Stephen King book going and love a good horror book or film, but this creeped me right out.

Sorry! I didn't watch it when I sent the link.... & don't think I will from the sounds of it 😱

MaryPlain59 · 13/02/2018 20:03

Thank you for finding it for me though funmummy I did appreciate your help x

funmummy I don't mind horrific or being creeped out really.

Whoever came up with that film is a subtle evil genius.
