Any recommendations? I've recently read the Ashes & Embers series by Carian Cole, which I really enjoyed, also the North Ridge series by Karina Halle.

I like happy endings, relatable characters and some good juicy bits Wink

Eyes to the wind by Catherine Wiltcher.

This one has definitely got some juicy bits. It will be part of a trilogy so there's more to look forward to. I really enjoyed the book, well couldn't put it down in fact.

Recently I have enjoyed His By Night and The Luckiest Lady in London by Sherry Thomas. :)

Try Julia Quinn. Its easily read historical romance, with plenty of smut!

If you like M/M romance then I'd thoroughly recommend KJ Charles. I loved her Society of Gentlemen series (regency setting), also the Charm of Magpies series (latter is fantasy romance).

Louise Bagshawe used to churn out easy to read romantic smutty stuff that was reliably filled with attractive people shopping, shagging and stressing about dark secrets from their pasts Grin

lucysnowe · 22/01/2018 08:32

Oh yes I love KJ Charles, so well written too!

Notadrill · 22/01/2018 23:36

@AnneLovesGilbert Louise Bagshawe - now Louise Mensch? one-time Tory MP (resigned, flounced off to the States to be with her rock band manager husband I believe). She's quite a character! bit batshit
Never read a book of hers but just wanted to chip in anyway

diamantegal · 22/01/2018 23:43

Tilly Bagshawe as well (her sister). All very formulaic - especially the Louise Bagshawe "downtrodden girl makes good despite men getting in her way but then eventually gets together with them" plot, which I think saw her through 10+ books, but they're very easy to read!

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/01/2018 12:36

That's the one @Notadrill Smile

One of her books tells the story of how she met her husband. Well, sort of! It's pretty much the same story, bar her first marriage.

Well described diamantegal but you can't argue with them Grin

My first one was Sparkles, proper jewellery porn, gorgeous.

diamantegal · 25/01/2018 00:07

Hey, I'm not arguing - I've bought them all. Apart from the Tilly Bagshawe ones where she tried (and failed) to imitate Jilly Cooper - think they were the Swell Valley series, but a bit too grown up and not glamorous enough for me!

Louise Bagshawe is my go-to easy read. But I WILL read more intelligent books this year - honest!

The Devil In The Flesh

The Age Of Reason by Satre is soooo smutty for the first third
