It's advertised as a collection of new short stories. They were all published years ago, and only appeared in magazines. Ruth Rendell herself said she didn't think they were good enough for her anthologies of short stories, and she was right. They are dated, and written mainly from a male viewpoint for some reason.I was really disappointed.
