Just for anyone who is interested Smile

Go to futurelearn and look for Literature options. This course is offered by Edinburgh University and has just started. So far I've watched three short video clips discussing plot/story, use of flashbacks and flashforwards, and the author's use of pace.

Following these explanations there's the chance to take part in a discussion forum, for example on what makes a good book, with some thoughtful contributions.

Interesting but not too challenging .. and free!

Thank-you highland. Just joined. I've done a couple of FutureLearn courses. Always very good.

I'll take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the mumsnetter who recommended this course last year.
I didn't join the course but I took several others mostly on linguistic and health topics and I am hooked.

So again thank you Flowers
