Or have you read it and remember how it ends? I bought a copy from a charity shop and I'm sure the very last bit is missing as it ends very abruptly half way down the page and doesn't seem to make sense. I think a bit of print is missing. I've sort of guessed how it ends but it's still very annoying not to know for sure. It was a very enjoyable read up until that point by the way!

Pleasure

It is a fab story, one of my favourites. The ending is a bit abrupt, I think it's a sort of counterpoint (?) to the long hours of the night.
