Jane Juska died recently

and I thought it was worth mentioning.

In case you're not familiar with her, she achieved great notoriety when, in her late 60s, she placed an ad looking for sex partners, and then wrote a best-selling book about it, "A Round-Heeled Woman." Very gutsy.

Sorry to hear this, I finished reading A Round-Heeled Woman just before Christmas and enjoyed it very much. Gutsy is right, it's a very brave book. I found her writing about the inmates she taught at San Quentin much more interesting than her love life.
