Has anybody read this please? It it worth the effort for someone who considers themselves to be a hands on parent who already endeavours to instil morals, discipline, boundaries and time with their children?

TIA

Whats the book about, i mean is the child telling the story or is it through the parents eyes?

It's about how modern society is ruining our children. With all the parenting forums that are available, I was wondering if she has just repackaged what many many parents are already saying and selling it.

I've just read it - it's very readable, and though she is preaching to the converted to an extent, I liked the idea that she takes into account ways we can all encourage things to change in terms of people power.
Of course, there is an element of personal smuggery buggery involved as many of her ideas are already firmly entrenched at FilthyMinded Manor.

An only last night I felt encouraged enough to ask a child in the street to put the brick down
(he was hiding roundthe corner, waiting for a girl to come round so he could 'scare her' with it . He told me he was 'only messing'. But he did put it down...)
