I'm struggling to find my next series to read and wondered if you lovely lot could point me in the right direction?

I love detective /crime books (preferably series), and have read all of these at least - can you recommend any new ones for me please?

I really enjoyed the Charlie Resnick dried by John Harvey. Set in Nottingham.

I liked the first Susie Steiner Manon Bradshaw book.

I'm not keen on detective novels. But folk I know like Ian Rankin and also Quintin Jardine.

Peter May - Enzo Series and The Lewis Trilogy

Sophie Hannah - Culver Valley crime
Mick Heron - Jackson Lamb (this is more secret service than police)

The Vera and Shetland series are fantastic. Also the Simon Serralier books too. And I loved the Tana French ones about the dublin murder squad.

Seconding (thirding?) Tana French’s Dublin Murder Squad books, a bit of a twist on the normal detective series with some really good central characters
