I like Kate Atkinson, Lisa Jewell, Maggie O Farrell, Lianne Moriaty, Jodie Picoult, Zadie Smith, Sarah Waters. Stuck for what to read!

I've recommended Barbara Trapido quite a few times just recently, so I hope I'm not being boring. I like Brother of the More Famous Jack and Noah's Ark in particular but I've read several of her later novels and enjoyed them - just not quite as much as I did the first two.

Have you tried Margaret Forster or Emma Donaghue ?

Have you tried Kate Morton - The Secret Keeper is very good.
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine - Excellent debut novel from Gail Honeyman.

'The Other Mrs. Walker' is good; similar style to Atkinson/Waters. I can't remember the author, I'm afraid.

Sounds like you would like Jennifer Weiner

I remembered I like Charity Norman and had no idea she had a new book. It's called See you in September. Oh wow. It's an absolutely incredible book. I can't put it down.
