To kill a mocking bird or Go set a watchman which 1 first?

Got both for Christmas, but which should I read first? Never read them before & know nothing about either...

I don't think it matters which one you read first, tbh. I like GSTW story better, but TKAM is much better written.

Mockingbird. I have got watchman but haven't read it in case it spoils tkam !

Mocking Bird is one of my favourites. And the movie is brilliant. Can't brig myself to read Watchman.

People seem to love Atticus so much in TKAM that they don't want to see him tarnished by how he is described in GSAW. I'm the other way around, i prefer the flawed Atticus (& flawed southern society, etc).

TKAM is one of my favourite all time books...can't bring myself to read watchman as worried my love for Atticus would be ruined!!!

Watchman broke my heart, but I was still glad to have read it.
