How to stay awake when reading?

I love to read books/kindle however every time I start to read, about 20 mins later I'm so so sleepy and can't keep my eyes open much longer!

Does this happen to anyone else? Any tips on how to get through a book without taking 100 naps throughout?SmileGrin

Start reading earlier? Xmas Grin

Annoyingly it only happens during the day time! Maybe I just need to be a night owl and stay up late reading!

Read a more interesting book? Grin

I've given up reading in bed, no matter how good the book is, I start nodding after a few pages.
I read on the sofa before I go to bed so I can drink wine as well

@MadamePince Yes I think I need to read downstairs instead but my bed is sooo comfy!!

I read before bed to help me to get to sleep so can’t help. But yes, downstairs bright lights.
