Just finished Atwood's MaddAdam trilogy as recommended by someone on here months ago (when it made my 'to read' list). It's blown my mind. Where does one go after this?!

Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel is good.

John Wyndham has written some good dystopian fiction.

Margaret Atwood's a The Heart Goes Last is not as good but in a similar vein.

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro perhaps? Absorbing, beautifully written and moving.
Or more Margaret Atwood? Alias Grace, The Handmaids Tale and The Blind Assassin are my favourites.
I also love Oryx and Crake so In following with interest!

I have the trilogy too and just finished Oryx and Crake. I usually love this sort of thing and while I liked it I can't face into the second book just yet.
Am I the only one who finds M.A books long winded?

Oh I loved it, was fixated! I've read handmaids and never let me go, both amazing. Will look into the others - thanks!

I find her long-winded sometimes, Dee.

I’m reading The Robber Bride - enjoying but losing momentum.

Have you read Riddley Walker by Russell Hoban, OP?
