DD and I are reading it aloud together before bed.
She's Lyra's age and we're on the second last chapter.

Sob.

With her brother it marked the end of reading aloud.
But we'll probably finish with La Belle Sauvage.

Absolutely fab books. I’m onto the bit where will is travelling with the angels

My favourite ever. Cried over Lee Scoresby but sobbed and wept big tears at the very end of The Amber Spyglass.

Saw it at the National Theatre years ago. Really good but they cut one of my favourite characters (who you probably haven’t met yet.)
