Just wondering, for anyone who has read this one.. did you think it was 95% brilliant, ruined by the crazy last couple of chapters?? Less of a twist and more of just a ridiculous ending? Up until then I had really enjoyed it!

Yes, I read it, enjoyed it to start with, BUT, the ending was absolutely shit. It was as if the author got to 300 pages and didn't know how to finish it so decided it was all a dream. Never have I been so angry about a book that's been SO heavily marketed and yet is abysmal. Year 8 English students could have done better.
In summary this so called novel is crap, avoid.....
A real exercise in how who you know matters more than what you know......

Spoiler.......

Is this the body swap one?

Braceface · 20/11/2017 18:14

It isn't it I just checked. It's a total rip off of a book I read as a teenager.

I haven't but I happened to speak to my DM on the phone just after she had finished it and she was fairly unimpressed for similar reasons, told me not to waste my time with it.

I was a bit pissed off with the ending, but it sucked you in up until then and it was well written.

I found the ending very disturbing. But, it tied up the questions raised of why the manipulation was occurring.

Just finished it. Not impressed. No, I didn't guess that would happen because I'm not an 11 year old who's eaten too many blue Smarties.

Glad I'm not the only one.

Yes another one here who thought it had ridiculous ending. If I was rating it out of five I'd only give it one, on the whole a rubbish read. Not really in the psychological genre more the supernatural, if I'd known that I wouldn't have bothered reading it in the first place.

Really enjoyed it until the absolute WTAF ending which ruined it for me
