Some help please!

I'm up with DD2 - a regular occurrence and I need something great to read. I finished Eleanor Oliphant a week or so ago and loved it but on a whim I decided to go for non-fiction next and it's just not suitable for middle of the night distraction. I can't cope with scary, it's too dark outside and I'm not good with blood and gore. I'd really like something along the lines of I Capture the Castle or Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, sort or grown up fairy tale. Any ideas?

I love I Capture the Castle! I wonder if you’d like Period Piece or 84 Charing Cross Road. Both are non fiction, but remind me of I Capture the Castle in their style. Or have you read Nancy Mitford?
