I am feeling a bit fed up, no energy or zest for life. Can anyone recommend a good read that will make me want to get out a take life by the horns??

The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim.
The Other Side Of The Lake by Mary Lawson
They are both really lovely reads.

Some books to make you feel you can do anything:

An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth - Chris Hadfield
Wild - Cheryl Strayed
Born to Run - Christopher McDougall

All non fiction.

'A Year of Living Danishly'. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would recommend (surprisingly) graham Norton's latest book "Holding". It is well written and has a cast of characters who are all really "sweet".
