Waterstones often have beautiful hardback copies of the classics in the children's section. I covet them whenever I am in there.

This one of ICTC in Waterstones is lovely (the image on the website doesn't do it justice).

While I adore the Penguin Clothbounds, I do think this special leatherbound edition (also designed by Coralie Bickford Smith) would make a much nicer gift.
