Whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth, we all know what it's like to really fancy a little (or large) bit of something. GBBO contestant Martha Collison's new book Crave is about just that - and we're asking you to share your cravings below for a chance to win.

We all know the feeling. What starts as an insignificant little niggle which grows into a demanding full-on craving. The kind that drags you out of bed in the middle of the night on a search for cheese, or causes you to break away from your desk in a desperate hunt for chocolate.

Crave is the second book from Sunday Times bestselling author and Great British Bake Off contestant, Martha Collison. Using inspired food science and delicious cuisine combinations, she provides go-to recipes incorporating eight flavours we so often find ourselves hankering for: chocolate, cheese, caramel, citrus, fruit, nut, spice – and alcohol!

These include ‘Instant’ recipes like lemon cheesecake pots, ‘Soon’ recipes that are ready to snaffle in under an hour, such as chilli chocolate churros, and you’ll also find ‘Worth the Wait’ recipes, which really are what they say on the tin... Creative, inspiring and imaginative, these are the recipes you just have to have.

For the first time since the introduction of the original Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in 1936, KitchenAid has launched a mini version of its iconic culinary workhorse. The KitchenAid MINI Stand Mixer, is 20% smaller and 25% lighter with a 3.3 litre bowl - perfect for smaller batch lifestyles!

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of the book plus a KitchenAid MINI stand mixer (worth £449) just tell us: what food or flavours do you crave most? Feel free to give examples of the ways you satisfy them e.g. what meals - even the more weird and wonderful ones!

Crave is out on 27 July - buy the book from Amazon for £16.99

*KitchenAid MINI stand mixer colour will be pink

Today I had a huge chilli craving. Lunch was a mini Naan, spread with mango chutney and topped with a poached egg and a flood of chilli sauce. Damn delicious it was, too...

CHEESE!!

matphil · 02/09/2017 21:31

I crave anything sweet, I have to have something sweet everyday, sweets, chocolate, ice-cream, nothing else will do. I'd rather have a bar of chocolate than a cooked meal.

emmav6 · 02/09/2017 21:44

chocolate, it's always been chocolate!!

RudeDog · 02/09/2017 21:45

It used to be chocolate but now it's definitely cake or cheesecake

Oh I love cheesecake....

allibaby · 03/09/2017 07:18

I crave cake, chocolate cake, Victoria Sponge, Lemon cake, Fruit cake....it doesn't matter what flavour just as long as it's cake.

Loftzilla · 03/09/2017 09:10

Sometimes I look at the bananas in the fruit bowl and all I can see is banana fritters!

Tedsmum2010 · 03/09/2017 11:47

Chocolate!!

suester74 · 03/09/2017 17:05

Chocolate, in any shape or form....bar, cake, boxes, I'm really not fussy!! I quite often send my other half out to do a chocolate run 😋

cookie09 · 03/09/2017 19:17

I have got an obsession for nachos. I crave them all the time. Nachos with salsa, nachos with chilli beef, nachos with sour cream, nachos with guacamole. I'm terrible, its come to the point where a friend has said that when i die she will get me a nacho wreath for my grave as she knows how much i adore them Shock I think i may need some kind of NachoTherapy Grin

ptak5566 · 03/09/2017 19:17

Chocolate usually just before my period!

Emmamaryd · 03/09/2017 19:30

Crisps are my downfall

rachelkanga · 03/09/2017 20:17

Chocolate is my weakness. Do not like chocolate coated cereals, raisins however, just want a nice chunk of chocolate to melt in my mouth or melted into icing on a cake.

snare · 03/09/2017 20:32

crisps :)

avery64 · 03/09/2017 21:03

Meat! For health reasons I have been advised to eat a mainly vegetarian diet which I enjoy but oh how I miss roast dinners. Not quite the same appeal without roast beef/pork/lamb etc. and gravy made with the juices of the meat. However, home made cakes and biscuits offer some consolation. Delicious! Smile

glmcall123 · 03/09/2017 21:14

Anything sweet, especially chocolate cake.
