Whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth, we all know what it's like to really fancy a little (or large) bit of something. GBBO contestant Martha Collison's new book Crave is about just that - and we're asking you to share your cravings below for a chance to win.

We all know the feeling. What starts as an insignificant little niggle which grows into a demanding full-on craving. The kind that drags you out of bed in the middle of the night on a search for cheese, or causes you to break away from your desk in a desperate hunt for chocolate.

Crave is the second book from Sunday Times bestselling author and Great British Bake Off contestant, Martha Collison. Using inspired food science and delicious cuisine combinations, she provides go-to recipes incorporating eight flavours we so often find ourselves hankering for: chocolate, cheese, caramel, citrus, fruit, nut, spice – and alcohol!

These include ‘Instant’ recipes like lemon cheesecake pots, ‘Soon’ recipes that are ready to snaffle in under an hour, such as chilli chocolate churros, and you’ll also find ‘Worth the Wait’ recipes, which really are what they say on the tin... Creative, inspiring and imaginative, these are the recipes you just have to have.

For the first time since the introduction of the original Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in 1936, KitchenAid has launched a mini version of its iconic culinary workhorse. The KitchenAid MINI Stand Mixer, is 20% smaller and 25% lighter with a 3.3 litre bowl - perfect for smaller batch lifestyles!

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of the book plus a KitchenAid MINI stand mixer (worth £449) just tell us: what food or flavours do you crave most? Feel free to give examples of the ways you satisfy them e.g. what meals - even the more weird and wonderful ones!

Crave is out on 27 July - buy the book from Amazon for £16.99

*KitchenAid MINI stand mixer colour will be pink

I crave chocolate. So much so that I keep an inconspicuous tub (an empty butter tub) with segments in the fridge to nibble on whenever I get the cravings. The only problem is my husband has found my secret stash and has been caught delving in! Ha!

Pizza, always pizza! I can't go for long without craving it; can eat it on a Monday and then want it again on the Friday. Probably not the best idea to have pizza that often, however, so I really have to try to resist! Mac and cheese is another, so creamy.

angiehoggett · 16/08/2017 15:20

I tend to crave chips: rustic, chunky, twice cooked chips with sea salt and vinegar, there's nothing better!

userinfinity · 16/08/2017 15:26

Fresh cream cake, where your mouth gets filled with the whipped cream and the soft sponge

Oogle · 16/08/2017 15:46

Chocolate, in any form. If it's in the house, I eat it. I especially love chocolate mousse.

MrRichTea · 16/08/2017 16:14

I always crave Battenberg cake, esp with cuppa tea! :)

muddledsheep · 16/08/2017 17:00

Fresh baked choc chip cookies. I've finally found a recipe that I like and it's way too easy to knock out a batch to cheer me up!

HoisinSource · 16/08/2017 17:04

Milk ice lollies! Absolutely obsessed with them. I feel like 5 again when I eat one Grin

sparkle58 · 16/08/2017 19:38

Cheesecake - I don't have it very often but when I do I eat too much and end up feeling sick!

starlingsintheslipstream · 16/08/2017 22:40

I love toffee, chocolate and nuts. Definitely sweet stuff for me.

niece64 · 17/08/2017 10:11

Mine is chocolate chip muffins I make a batch every weekend for our grandchildren and me 😂

whyalwaysme · 17/08/2017 13:46

For me it's cheese in all its forms

Lovelylesalee · 17/08/2017 14:17

Raisins. I'm not strange but if you don't like them then more for me. 😂 I put them in my oatmeal most every morning and always reach for them when I'm craving sweet things. I have to limit myself so I put a serving in a jar so I don't overdo my quota for the day.

stehol · 17/08/2017 19:28

Anything with chocolate - bars, cake, biscuits

strawberrisc · 18/08/2017 12:08

I adore coffee cake but it's hard to find so I really need to learn to make it myself.

vonniebab2 · 18/08/2017 14:34

I crave a sunday lunch with roast potatoes stuffing balls lots of lovely veg!

Kirstyetjohn · 18/08/2017 15:26

I crave a little bit of chocolate every now and again or some cheese! When I was pregnant I craved carbs! I remember raiding the kitchen in the middle of the night and made myself a roll with potato scone, cheese and tomato sauce! Yummy!

thekiwibex · 20/08/2017 00:17

Anything cheesy - macaroni cheese, toasted cheese sandwiches, cheese scones!

kateandme · 20/08/2017 06:54

strawberrisc my mum makes the best.camp coffee is the secret.

Kleptronic · 20/08/2017 07:18

I crave butter pie on white bread with mayonnaise. Butter pie is mashed potato and butter, in a pie. So good.

AWholeLottaRosie · 20/08/2017 07:41

It's got to be cake! I don't normally buy any because if it's there I'll eat it (and need to lose weight) but we usually have the ingredients in so if the cravings get really bad I can soon whip one up.

Gillybean1 · 20/08/2017 08:09

Hmm hard one. I do quite often crave cheese & onions crisps with chocolate. But I mainly love sweet and savoury combined. So cheese with apple and chilli jam. That type of thing

rachelmi · 20/08/2017 18:53

Either chocolate digestives or mini chedders !

maggz1967 · 20/08/2017 21:08
