Whether you've got a sweet or savoury tooth, we all know what it's like to really fancy a little (or large) bit of something. GBBO contestant Martha Collison's new book Crave is about just that - and we're asking you to share your cravings below for a chance to win.

We all know the feeling. What starts as an insignificant little niggle which grows into a demanding full-on craving. The kind that drags you out of bed in the middle of the night on a search for cheese, or causes you to break away from your desk in a desperate hunt for chocolate.

Crave is the second book from Sunday Times bestselling author and Great British Bake Off contestant, Martha Collison. Using inspired food science and delicious cuisine combinations, she provides go-to recipes incorporating eight flavours we so often find ourselves hankering for: chocolate, cheese, caramel, citrus, fruit, nut, spice – and alcohol!

These include ‘Instant’ recipes like lemon cheesecake pots, ‘Soon’ recipes that are ready to snaffle in under an hour, such as chilli chocolate churros, and you’ll also find ‘Worth the Wait’ recipes, which really are what they say on the tin... Creative, inspiring and imaginative, these are the recipes you just have to have.

For the first time since the introduction of the original Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in 1936, KitchenAid has launched a mini version of its iconic culinary workhorse. The KitchenAid MINI Stand Mixer, is 20% smaller and 25% lighter with a 3.3 litre bowl - perfect for smaller batch lifestyles!

To be in with a chance of winning a copy of the book plus a KitchenAid MINI stand mixer (worth £449) just tell us: what food or flavours do you crave most? Feel free to give examples of the ways you satisfy them e.g. what meals - even the more weird and wonderful ones!

Crave is out on 27 July - buy the book from Amazon for £16.99

*KitchenAid MINI stand mixer colour will be pink

I've been craving the salty-sweet combo lately so its peanuts and chocolate biscuit or salted caramel or chocolate and crisps (bunny to have watched Nadia's Chocolate and Crisps tart the other day!)

Cake. All kinds, all flavours - but ideally home-made. Dried up shop cake just doesn't cut it.

Baked Camembert or Brie and pate is my downfall.

Bread. Oh I love bread, but bread does not love me. I especially love homemade herby bread.

I constantly crave persimmon and avocado!!

NauticalDisaster · 08/08/2017 08:49

I particularly like the texture of a proper New York style cheesecake! None if this no bake, jellyish, wobbly garbage but a full, creamy cheesecake with a proper graham cracker crust. I'm quite happy if it is marble cheesecake as well so it can also satisfy my chocolate craving.

Any sweet for me usually chocolate we always have some in the house.

Graymac · 08/08/2017 15:25

For me it has to be caramelized onions with balsamic vinegar and sugar

buckley1983 · 08/08/2017 23:42

Potentially an odd one.. but I'm going to throw it out there!
I absolutely love crumpets topped with cheese - grilled & topped with Branston pickle - sooo.. good!
To satisfy my sweet tooth - you can't beat a really good Victoria sponge - with a good thick layer of homemade strawberry jam & lashings of buttercream. You know it's good when you can literally feel that buttercream welding itself onto your thighs!

Cheese always cheese
Melted on pasta or pizza, in a salad like mozzarella or feta, a good Stilton with quality biscuits, good English cheddar cheese in a quiche or goats cheese tart with caramelised onions and for pudding also a belting cheesecake with cream cheese. It had to be cheese....
best and most versatile ingredient ever Wink
I love love ❤️ 💕 all cheese 🧀 Grin

badgermum · 09/08/2017 20:23

My main cravings are for Fresh crusty bread or chocolate but I also crave coconut.
I make a mean coconut dahl topped with toasted desiccated coconut and coriander

FireflyGirl · 09/08/2017 20:49

I love roasted garlic! I can have eaten the biggest meal, but if I smell garlic, I just have to have it!

feeona123 · 09/08/2017 21:34

I crave milk! It got at its worst when I was pregnant with my 2nd baby and it carried on after he was born!

I have lately started Weight Watchers so have cut down on it a bit, but it's always after the kids are in bed that the cravings start again!!

Teaformeplease · 09/08/2017 21:37

Cake for me, or biscuits, chocolate, crisps. Anything starchy in fact!
