Yes, I enjoyed it. Well not enjoyed but I thought it was good. Recommended it to a friend and she hated it as it was miserable!

I've read it! I thought it was really good too. The only thing was that I sometimes got a bit confused between what was real (i.e. a fictional retelling of actual history) and what was completely made up - magic realism, if you like. I had to really think in some parts about what was what!

I thought it was excellent and very thought provoking. I was a bit disappointed that the ending pretty obviously is a set up for the sequel though.

We're reading it for book group. It's brilliantly written but just so harrowing, I was relieved to finish it. Never thought of a sequel, though.
