...the name of the woman (andrea someone???) who published a retelling of fairy stories in a kind of adult style earlier this year?

There is a book by hers about a woman who has wings called 'fevvers' but I can't remember anything else about it and I really want to buy it.

as I said, it's a long shot.....

this is the book I am after - saw someone talk about it at Oxford Literature Festival, but couldn't remember the crucial name or title. Have tracked it down now and love you to bits!

(I just googled for 'fevver' and wings, btw. Turns out the woman is called Fevver, in that book.)
