Has anyone read the excerpt in The Guardian? I really liked it. I'd love to know more about Lyra's family and friends. I can't wait to read the book in the Autumn.

I haven't read it and not sure if I want to. I think it will make the waiting harder!
But now I'm curious... I love the books so much, and I named a child after a character, so I hope it's good. I Was a bit snobby about baby names from a series that isn't finished (game of thrones) and now I've done it. It is supposed to be an 'equal' not a sequel so I should be alright...
Can't wait to find out what he does with it
